Our Recommendation
I have gone through the Bible, Genesis to Revelation, one podcast at a time over the past two years. This podcast has helped me understand the Bible better than anything else I have experienced (and I have been seminary trained). I absolutely cannot recommend this podcast more highly to people who want to understand the Bible and learn at their own pace.

About the Podcast
The BEMA Podcast with Marty Solomon (and co-hosts) is a long-running Bible study podcast launched in 2016 that guides listeners through Scripture with a focus on historical, cultural, and literary context. The show intentionally deconstructs common modern readings of the Bible and reconstructs them through the lens of context and original meaning to help people see the Bible as a unified narrative rather than isolated verses.

The core of the work is organized into sequential seasons that systematically cover biblical books, themes, and stories, with early episodes beginning in Genesis and progressing through major parts of Scripture. This structure encourages sustained engagement with the Text and its historical backdrop.

The podcast also provides study tools, episode companions, and discussion resources to support listeners in group or individual study. BEMA Discipleship, the ministry behind the podcast, emphasizes asking better questions of the text and invites listeners into deeper understanding and discipleship as they explore Scripture together.
